About Karson

Hi! I’m Karson Fenton

I’m the owner of Ottawa Hedge and Tree (formerly Spring Into Action). I offer professional hedge trimming and removal, tree trimming and removal, snow removal, lawn mowing and edge trimming, and storm assessment and cleanup services in Ottawa and surrounding areas.

I started Ottawa Hedge and Tree in 2020 and have trained under other experienced arborists. I have also researched various techniques and videos and have taken multiple safety courses.

I am fully insured for tree trimming and removal and do all the work personally, with a strong attention to detail. I absolutely love helping others, and in my spare time, I voluntarily clean up branches and debris from NCC properties in Ottawa, including many popular paths and trails. I believe everyone should have access to safe, accessible, and clean parks and pathways.

I am a former competitive hockey player and a black belt in karate. I enjoy swimming and keeping fit in order to keep up with the challenges of my job.

He never fails when he sees an elderly person struggling with snow removal to help him/her out of the goodness of his heart and without compensation. He does this several times weekly. He is well appreciated by the community. As well as doing this, if someone is stuck on the road driving, he always stops and helps dig them out. He uses his traction ramps to get them going. He deserves recognition for his kindness because it is his very nature to be this way.
